How to flash a dbox

To flash a dbox, first you need to connect to the box using a crossover cable. Establish a connection with the box, create a static I.P. address on your computer/laptop. Connect to the box using the IP address setup in the network settings.
create an FTP connection to the box, and FTP the new image file to the /TMP folder on the box.
Now press, dbox, service, software update, flash, write one partition, flash without bootloader.
Now select your image, and press red to confirm.
Hey presto your box is flashed |
